One tends to like what one is used too...that being said, new tech can go through growing pains...that new joystick direction control is likely fly by wire and so is the loader joystick...it may not be transferring commands to the spool valves properly...take Case backhoes for instance...one would think that the new joystick excavator style controls are the cats ass and the best option but lots of old school backhoe hands will swear the triple stick configuration is way faster and smoother and it could very well be...I would argue this particular tractor has to be put on the laptop and all the sensitivity configurations set up on it!..good luck with that machine!

When a dozer is just to slow.

Tracked loaders sound badass... until you find out the controls are designed to make you hit everything around you. Everything is wrong. Steering should never happen with your feet. It should just run like a big skidsteer... but nooooooo. These dinosaurs never got an update.

We abuse the shit out our hoepacks. We run deere 135 or case 145 with the same setup basically. On a pipe job it's all about getting the meters. Sticks the ground is all that matters. I spread dozens of loads a day and pack them in the ditch, push cages around, dig with it, push trucks around, whatever I need to do when shits hitting the fan. The rubbers tear once in a while but you always know they are tearing so you can typically get them changed out when your not needing it.
